- Strong management team capable of building value in an entrepreneurial environment
- Competitive advantages in market share, products, and technology
- Strong gross margins or potential for strong gross margins within 18 to 24 months after investment.
- Significant opportunity for growth either internally or through acquisitions
- Ability to structure significant management ownership in the company
